Today is the vote on Trumpcare.

March 24, 2017

Trump will probably win the “Yes” vote by one or two votes today. It’s in his book, “The Art of the Deal.” I voted for him and I don’t regret it – yet? I had cancer and I was scheduled for chemotherapy. I went to Germany instead and paid for private immunotherapy. Today I am cured of 2 Stage IV cancers. What if I couldn’t afford to pay for my immunotherapy there? I’d be probably dead because my California teacher insurance or my Canada wife insurance probably wouldn’t cover immunotherapy because immunotherapy is natural-holistic, too fancy to be covered by insurance companies in most countries (The 10% Rule). The democrats and the republicans in Congress do not have a clue or a clause in their today’s Trumpcare bill that should say, “This bill provides the best treatment available for cancer patients at the best price possible.” If they wrote that into the bill I would be surprised. Politicians by definition are not capable of passing any A+ bill.

Plan B says, “Pass the Trumpcare and get to work on improving it by 2020.”  If that is what Trump is aiming to do, then my vote for him was not wasted. I have to think and care about all the people who do not have the money to pay for immunotherapy in Germany. You see, the US treasury owes 20 trillion dollars debt because of Obama’s Socialism bug for 8 years and Bush Iraq bug for his 8 years. A quarter of the 20 trillion bucks could have given us the best Trumpcare in the world – wishful thinking! The US Constitution doesn’t guarantee an A+ CEO for the country. Trump is better than Bush and Obama but he is not the best. The best never run for office, who likes to deal with C+ colleagues who can’t come up with at least a B+ Bill?

Hungary, you have the right to protect your culture!

September 4, 2015

CNN selected anti Hungarian reporters to discuss this morning the refugee crisis in Budapest. CNN should be ashamed of itself being biased against Hungary, one of the most peaceful countries in the world!  If these reporters happened  to be in Budapest or in Cairo they would be arrested for defiling a country. How dare biased reporters repeatedly abuse (by derogatory criticism) Hungary’s right to preserve its own culture, dignity and identity by refusing to process or accept ungrateful refugees that don’t show that they care a bit about their host country!

I don’t believe in helping anyone that don’t show that they care about you, make no effort to please you and scream their demand for help as if is their right to get it from you and they have to do nothing to be worthy of the help. Being a refugee is not a ticket to selfish behavior. The reporters castigated the right-wing government of Hungary as if “right-wing” meant some kind of a social disease! A social disease is not being “right-wing” and protecting your freedom and property, the social disease is being “left-wing” and invading other people’s property in the name of justice, paternalism and human rights! The West believe in “citizens without borders” for Hungary that will allow people to move freely around in your own homes and create a havoc with your civilised and orderly world in the name an ideology.  “Human rights” must be earned by contributing behavior for a common good, not as the left define it as fundamental rights in the name of paternalism and forced multiculturalism.  The refugees have to show that they are looking for hard work, education, freedom and prosperity. These reporters profess an ideology that makes people the earth over lazy and they are not aware that they are doing it! Hungary has the right to keep a million people from failed cultures away from landing on its turf, without covert harassment from CNN!!!

What happen in Libya? Fear, miscommunication and denial – American traits!

May 10, 2013

President Obama will not be impeached by Congress for appointing incompetent Hilary Clinton Secretary of State. Why not? Because regardless of her callousness in rejecting requests for extra protection for the US embassador in Libya (a friend of Hillary) during the planned terrorist attach on the compound, and refusing to call the attack a planned terrorist attack calling it instead a spontaneous mob action, the latest poll shows that the majority of the democrats think that she would make a great president! What’s going on? Are the American people live in denial? Well, it’s not that simple. President Obama told secretary Clinton to make statements to the press that would diffuse Islamic aggression against the west by mischaracterization it. His strong fear of war wanted to keep the peace almost at any price till the last moment when he would be forced to act. This line of presidential thinking goes all the way back to Roosevelt who tolerated German abuses for more than 2 years and enter WWII only after Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese in 1941. Tolerating abuse for the sake of peace is an American tradition adopted from the Brits. Hilary is toxic but she may be elected president in 2016. Obama told her to misidentified (reduce the significant) the Attackers in Libya. She told Rice in the UN to call it an angry Libyan spontaneous response to American bombing. Republican now want to impeach Obama for not protecting the American embassy in Tripoli. What they don’t understand is that extreme fear of escalation is an American trait, that miscommunication between the FBI, CIA and the White House is an American turf trait as real as apple pie, aggravated by another trait I call don’t rock the boat for your own good. Authorities hate whistle blowers, they would bite the hand that feed them information!! Listen, in the thirties you lived in denial about the inevitability of second world war. Today, as the adage goes, history repeats itself, you live in the illusion that somehow third world war between the Infidels and the Barbarians somehow won’t happen. Sure, at the end American always win, but at a greatest cost of lives for the delayed responses. Chamberlain was a bloody misguided dude, not that much different from Hilary or Bill. I say people who make very risky decisions shouldn’t be in government. Yet, the American people may elect Hilary in 2016, God forbids. I know some psychologists who would label leaderless leaders the Innocent murderers!

Behavioral medicine: The essence of a culture of health.

March 15, 2013

I am a behavioral economist. The discipline is a newly born financial baby. Behavioral medicine as a discipline does not exist yet on earth. My experience is probably a harbinger of what is yet to come. I had a Stage IV prostate cancer in 2011 that metastasized to my thoracic region and lodged a long tumor between 4 vertebrae bones. I lost sensation down to my toes and motor control. I had hormone therapy, photon radiation therapy and surgery, all free in Canada where I live. I had Proton radiation therapy in California where I worked all my life, paid for by my insurance company. In Germany, I paid myself for the dendritic immunotherapy treatment in Cologne where I traveled to in order to avoid a last resort chemotherapy treatment to extend my life by a few months or years (with unwanted side effects). Back in Canada from the Medical Center Cologne (MCC) in February 2012, on my last day at the beautiful clinic in Cologne, Germany, I asked the director what were my chances of survival. Dr. Robert Gorter looked at me, smiled, and said, “Elior, you are good at least till 88.” I am 76 and his response not only felt good, but also endeared me this renowned expert in immunology for his reassuring confidence in his treatment. You see, contrary to public sentiment against prophecies, there are a few doctors you could trust when they make life and death predictions. I  think Robert is one of them.

Now, why am I telling you all these personal things? Well, moving from Stage VI cancer to cancer in remission was such a smooth and awesome experience that I wish other cancer patients wake up to new treatment possibilities in the world. My success has created a dilemma for me as the director of http://www.cancer-VCRC.org, a small non-profit cancer information centre in a small Canadian city. Canada does not allow private cancer clinics. Even the recent desire of a few Canadians to start plasma clinics for pay is thwarted by government regardless of the fact that there is shortage in blood donations in Canada! Dr. Gorter’s clinic would have no chance of getting approval to open this incredible immunotherapy private clinic in Canada, like he had done in Holland, Turkey and other countries.

Well, the new board of VCRC discussed the idea of inviting Dr. Gorter and Dr. Hudi to speak at UBC, UVIC or other Canadian Universities, to be organized by Canadian individuals, doctors, cancer clinics, important patients… I wish to find a way to incorporate Dendritic immunotherapy for cancer with the conventional treatments offered free by cancer agencies in Canada. I hate to think that such a wonderful combination to reduce cancer deaths in Canada would fall on death ears!

I am not happy that Canadian cancer patients cannot afford the best treatments, but for now those cancer patients who can afford it can do what I did – fly to Germany, in addition to the great treatments they get at home! I have added all the information on our website http://www.cancer-vcrc.org and on my blog http://www.drelior.wordpress.com. Cancer patients: Hillel said: if there is a will, there is a way. Good luck.

See you back in December.

October 18, 2012
I am going to Germany to cure my cancer, be back in December. I won’t have time to post for a month. Come back to see me in December.  The information I give out what to do to heal and live an awesome life is – awesome! Last year I was stage 4 terminal on the brink of dying from spinal bone cancer and advanced prostate cancer. I refused chemotherapy. Today I am almost cancer-free. When I come back I will discuss behavioural economics at the University of Valencia in Spain on January 24, 2013. Stay tune and learn how to be awesome medically and financially.
